Company

Fitting the horse to the cart is an important aspect of the construction process.

In residential or commercial building, our organization allows us to select an experienced team suited to every project we undertake. Whether the requirement is a one-on-one relationship throughout a custom residential build, or the construction management of a complex medical facility, we maintain the flexibility to fit our expertise to the scope of your work.

History

In 1984, Charles Weems established Charles Weems General Contractor, Inc. as a residential construction company. Over the past 23 years, the company has experienced steady growth from a sole proprietorship of one person to its present size—a corporation that employs 15 men and women. Our company has been building client confidence every step of the way as we provide both new build and renovation services in the residential, commercial and institutional areas.

Our customers benefit from our experienced and reliable employees. Key staff members have experience ranging from 15 to 35 years in the construction trade, and all those employees have dedicated eight or more years to our company. We take pride in our established track record with nearly a quarter centurylicensed, insured and bonded service.

We have earned and proudly maintain both the Certified Graduate Builder and the Graduate Master Builder Designations of the National Association of Home Builders.

Mission Statement

We believe that integrity is the backbone of our entire construction process. Our goal is to establish and maintain a quality of craftsmanship and service that instills pride in our employees and guarantees satisfaction for our clients.
